outs of attaching things to your walls and ceilings so they will

about the different methods available to attach things to your
walls, ceilings and doors. You will learn how to properly use the
many different types of hanging hardware (molly bolts, toggle bolts,
hanger bolts and more). Best of all-- you will have over an
hour of actual hands-on practice installing different types
of hangers and anchors.

This is a
fun, interactive class where you will learn to safely and
efficiently operate two of the most common and versatile power tools
- the cordless power drill and circular saw. During class
you will learn: the safe and effective use of these power tools; how
to identify the parts and functions of each tool; how to identify
and select the proper drill and screwdriver bits; how to select and
change the blade on a circular saw. Best of all - you will
have up to 2 hours of actual hands-on practice with these
tools- cutting boards, drilling small and large holes and driving
screws into wood, brick and drywall.

basics of the electrical circuitry in “Let There be Light”. In this
class you will learn what you need to know to safely replace
receptacles, switches and light fixtures in your home. In Session
1 (3 hours), you will learn safety, the basics of electrical
circuitry including your service panel, circuit breakers and testing
your electrical devices. You will learn how to identify wiring and
make proper connections to your devices. You will also learn how to
‘map’ the circuits in your home along with basic troubleshooting
skills. In Session 2 (3 hours), you will learn to replace
receptacles, install a dimmer switch, replace light fixtures and how
to wire a ceiling fan for installation.
